Sponsors
Without the generous support of sponsorship our club would be wanting in many areas. We extend special thanks to our principal sponsor:
Eves Whangarei
We appreciate the commitment that the team at Eves Whangarei have shown us over the years and we look forward to continuing our association for many more. A word from our sponsor:
"Eves Whangarei prides itself on giving something back to the Whangarei community. We sponsor various local schools, sports clubs, social groups and the underprivileged. We don’t just want to donate money to a worthy cause,we like to work with the organisation or individual and help devise creative ways of increasing the local community’s awareness of the charity or group."
Remember Eves referral incentive scheme where club members will receive a $100 shoe voucher and the club a $300 donation when they introduce a client to Eves Whangarei. This incentive is only applicable if the client's property is listed and sold by Eves Whangarei.

Over the last few months the club has been fortunate to have applied for and received funding from several gaming machine trusts. Without their funding our club would struggle to make progress. Funding requests have been aimed at improving our facilities and support for junior club members. Our club has benefited from:
Pelorus Trust
Their funding has provided our junior club with 60 athletics singlets/shirts.

Oxford Sports Trust
Helped to provide funding to enable our young athletes to attend the New Zealand Track and Field Championships in Christchurch.
This portable speaker system was also supplied by the Oxford Sports Trust to enable clear communication to our over 200-strong junior club.

The Lion Foundation
Their support has enabled us to purchase two shipping containers for the temporary storage of equipment needed by our junior and senior track athletes whilst competing on the Northland Athletics track.

Pub Charity
Has given us the opportunity to purchase marquees to provide our junior and senior club members with much needed protection from the wind, rain and sunshine whilst attending club events.
Gaming machine grants provide a significant source of funding for community, sports, leisure and recreational groups. Hotels, taverns and chartered clubs are all members of different charitable trusts and foundations. They are required to donate a percentage of gaming machine proceeds to the community. The executive committee members of the club wish to thank the trustees of the Pelorus Trust, Oxford Sports Trust, The Lion Foundation and Pub Charity for the generous funding support that they have given to our club.
